This program provides eligible Ontario interactive digital media content producers with funding to participate in export development activities that correspond to a strategy for company growth. New Money for New Media from the Feds

New media content providers are getting a $2-million boost from the Canadian Television Fund.



Designed to help TV shows backed by the CTF, the Digital Media Pilot Program will finance at least 20 digital new media productions, with a $100,000 cap per project. Funds will be dispersed to eligible Canadian productions on a first-come, first-served basis.



Applications will be administered by Telefilm Canada on behalf of the CTF, and will be accepted from Oct. 15 until Feb. 13.… Continue

Training for filmmakers

I found a great site provided by the Cultural Human Resources Council that breaks down some key functions/jobs for film production and also a data base of training available. http://www.culturalhrc.ca/minisites/Film_and_Broadcasting/e/index.htm
When you are searching for specific training, it seems a little slow but it is comprehensive.
