Tell us about your relationship to the film & creative community
Passion. I have entertained since a young child and I love being a part of any process of bringing together entertainment for people. I have done V/Os, acted, hosted functions, produced, written, played, done improv ( so much fun!), studied with other actors, hostess with the Crystal Awards for WIFT and loved every minute, every single challenge and every moment of evoking a response in the audience. THAT is my relationship to and with the film industry. Needless to say, I would be employed as a runner if needs be just to be there and soak up the process, watch and learn and maybe bring fresh ideas to the table since I think outside of the box.
I also love to do accents!
Funny how you forget the things you do because you just love to do them. I volunteered at the TIFF for a couple of years, it was great, you met lots of people from all walks of life and professions. I loved talking to all the different people.

Getting ready for the big event!

Friday arrives and I am so excited about going to the gala the following day. I decide instead of wearing my pretty party dress with my farmers tan, I head off to my laptop, google spray tans in Hamilton to find my nearest spa.

Friend of mine had it done for a wedding she was going to, and she looked great!

Of course I use the term "tan" very loosely, I am one gene short of being albino, I glow in the dark in summer, spring, winter and fall.

Freckles are my genetic thing,… Continue

Catching the bug!

Thank God there isn't a cure for the love of film! I started going to movies at the age of three years old. My grandfather would take me to the local theatre and there I would sit, riveted and excited, screaming at the top of my lungs, " Go Tonto, GO!!" and in the next breath, "Oh grandpa, please tell me again the horses are ok."

My tears for the horses turned to tears of laughter, Harpo was my favourite Marx Brother and my love of piano came from Chico. I mean, who knew then, this would… Continue

thanks for the compliment Jeanette. My studio would be a really short tour .. I do everything on my desktop in the corner of my living room right now. My dream is to be large enough to have two or three editors working with me and a small studio for doing interviews etc. .. that's a bit of a way off. So great to be able to do everything on computer and internet but I do miss "going to work".
