I'm relatively new to the industry, starting as a Producer at Redcanoe Productions in January of '08. My background is in advertising. Redcanoe however has been around for about 8 years, started by David Wesley. We're an enterprising company that has focused on producing arts and history type films and television programming, including the series Mystic Women of the Middle Ages and Come Into the Parlour as well as film titles like Noam Chomsky: Rebel Without a Pause. We most recently were involved in the Cinefocus project Museum Maestros on Bravo!. We're currently working on a doc for CBC's Documentary channel called "Hunting The Last Hamilton Tiger". Congrats on the article in the spec!
I ran into an old-timer the other day in Brampton and he might actually have a lead to a Tigers fan/collector. I'm a little busy for the next couple of days but next week I'll pursue the lead.
Soak up the sun
Affirm life's magic
Be graceful in the wind
Stand tall after a storm
Feel refreshed after it rains
Grow strong without notice
Be prepared for each season
Provide shelter to strangers
Hang tough through a cold spell
Emerge renewed at the first signs of spring
Stay deeply rooted while reaching for the sky
Be still long enough to
hear your own leaves rustling.
